Aaliyah Massaid’s decision to attend her friends’ wedding, Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise, just four days after giving birth to her firstborn sparked heated debate on social media.
Aware that she was the target of criticism, Thariq Halilintar’s wife came forward with an explanation through a post on her personal Instagram broadcast.
“I already guessed some people would get heated, haha.
Most of those making a fuss haven’t even had kids and just love creating drama,” she said casually.
Aaliyah emphasized that her attendance at the event was brief, and she ensured proper hygiene before touching her baby, Ahmad Arash Omara Thariq.
“I went back and forth for each event.
Every time I returned, I showered and washed my hair before holding Arash,” she further explained.
According to Aaliyah, her baby was not left alone as he was cared for by her mother, sister, and a professional midwife.
Moreover, her attendance at the wedding was with the doctor’s approval.

Closing her statement, Aaliyah stressed that she and her husband are very hands-on in caring for their child.
“My husband and I are truly hands-on with Arash.
The helper is just for support. InshaAllah, we won’t miss any small moment,” she added.
