[V]Baim Wong’s Lawyer Supports Leaked Voice Recording, Paula Verhoeven’s Lawyer Disagrees!

The controversy over the leaked voice recording between Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven continues to spark debate as their respective lawyers came forward with opposing views on the audio’s spread across social media.

Baim’s lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, confirmed that the voice in the recording indeed belongs to his client.

“Baim, that’s really his voice, and it was used in the trial,” Fahmi clarified, as reported by TikTok @aladin_simba, on Tuesday.

However, Fahmi stressed that he doesn’t know how the trial evidence could have been publicly leaked. According to him, he had submitted 86 pieces of evidence in the form of videos, conversations, and WhatsApp messages to the court.

Interestingly, Fahmi didn’t oppose the spread of the recording, even supporting it on the grounds of truth.

“If it’s true, we must expose it. Don’t be afraid to state the truth,” he asserted.

On the other hand, Paula’s lawyer, Alvon Kurnia Palma, took a different approach. He was more concerned about the long-term impact on the couple’s children.
