“Although we said we didn’t mind the gender, deep in our hearts, we were hoping for a boy.
We wanted a ‘Syed,’ and Alhamdulillah, Allah has answered our prayers,” Afifah said on Instagram.
She added that her husband had once expressed his wish for 2024 to be a year focused on each other, before welcoming their child the following year.
“It’s truly amazing how Allah hears your plans,” she said, touching the hearts of many.
