Miri City is set to become the main stage for two mega concerts that are expected to electrify the Land of the Hornbills this May. Even more exciting, both concerts are free for everyone to enjoy.
Supported by the Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts and brought by TVS in collaboration with Astro, these concerts not only showcase a powerful blend of two of the nation’s biggest entertainment brands but also mark another milestone in expanding the reach of the creative industry to northern Sarawak.
MeleTOP TVS Concert – May 17, 2025
Taking place at Miri Indoor Stadium, the “MeleTOP TVS Concert” presented by U Mobile will happen on May 17, 2025, followed by a special MeleTOP recording the next day, May 18, 2025.
This is the first time the popular entertainment program is being brought outside the Klang Valley, making Miri the historic host for this extraordinary edition.
The lineup of artists set to grace the stage includes Dayang Nurfaizah, Hael Husaini, Stacy, Dolla, Floor 88, Namie, and many more, a vibrant mix of traditional Borneo culture and contemporary pop music that’s sure to captivate audiences.
The concert will also be broadcast live on TVS (Channel 122 on Astro, MYTV Unifi TV), Astro ONE, and Sooka.

Berkat Gawai-Kaamatan Concert – May 21, 2025
The celebration continues on May 21, 2025, with the “Berkat Gawai-Kaamatan Concert,” headlined by the nation’s Rock Queen, Ella. Also lighting up this special night are Bob Yusof, Ramles Walter, Dabra Sia, Velvet Aduk, Roxy Ixzy, SMDX, and a guest artist from Kalimantan, Marina Jara.
This concert will kick off at 7:30 pm and will be aired on May 31, 2025, at 9 pm on TVS for those who can’t attend in person. It’s a tribute to the heritage and culture of Sarawak, Sabah, and Kalimantan communities, while celebrating unity through music.
Miri – Strategic Location, Mega Celebration
Choosing Miri as the location was no coincidence. According to Mohamad Sardon Zainal, Acting Chief Executive Officer of TVS, “Miri is the gateway to northern Sarawak, close to Brunei, Sabah, and Kalimantan. With Miri’s 20th anniversary as a city approaching, this is the perfect time to celebrate with the people.”
