On May 29, Epik High’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new video titled “Mithra Finally Reveals His Hidden Favorite Spot After 10 Years (Potato Pancakes + Spicy Chicken Feet, Let’s Go)” where the group members shared old memories, including a bitter experience from their early days in the music industry.
In the video, Tablo disclosed an incident where a senior suddenly treated them harshly during their debut period.
Tablo also shared how, after the incident, he was called into a room and told that he was disliked for supposedly being “unfriendly.”
“With all due respect, it’s hard for a junior to be friendly when you treat us like that,” Tablo responded.
Tablo explained at the time that, as a junior, it was difficult to act friendly when treated harshly and disrespectfully.
However, according to him, the senior twisted the situation to entirely blame him.
Despite facing that tough moment, Tablo acknowledged that their group never broke apart and has stayed together until today.
For Tablo, love between group members doesn’t need to be overly expressed, but their bond is already like family.
He also mentioned that when DJ Tukutz faced difficulties, their group was the first to show up with support.
The same applied when Tablo himself went through tough times, as they supported each other.
“When Tukutz went through a hard time, we were the first to show up.
And when I was struggling, they were the first there for me. So, I hope people aren’t afraid of being called cold.
As long as you’re sincere to a few people, that’s enough,” Tablo said.
Tablo hopes society won’t fear being labeled as cold, because for him, being genuine to a handful of truly important people in life is already sufficient. – BOOM!
