The famous Indonesian band, Maliq & D’Essentials, has been forced to postpone their concert, Maliq & D’Essentials Album Tour Kuala Lumpur, which was scheduled to take place on December 29, 2024, at Megastar Arena.
This was announced via an official statement on the band’s Instagram.
“With deep humility, we regret to inform you that Maliq & D’Essentials Album Tour Kuala Lumpur, scheduled for December 29, 2024, has to be postponed to a new date which will be announced soon,” they wrote.

The organizers, Kharisma Music International, explained that the postponement was due to unavoidable circumstances. They apologized for the inconvenience, particularly to fans who had already purchased tickets.
Maliq & D’Essentials also confirmed that tickets previously purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled concert.
“We will share further details on the new date and the refund process as soon as possible. Your love and support mean more than words can express,” they added.
Founded in 2002, Maliq & D’Essentials promised to provide a memorable experience for their fans when the concert is eventually held.
“Until we meet again, take care, stay inspired, and know that we will be together soon,” they continued.
In the comment section on social media, many fans expressed anger and sadness. Some had already booked hotels and purchased flight tickets just to attend the concert.
While the decision disappointed many, the support and love from their fans continue to be a major motivation for this iconic band in the Indonesian music scene. – BOOM!
