The Hollywood entertainment world was shocked by the news of the passing of legendary actor Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, 65. The couple was found deceased at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, alongside their pet dog last Wednesday.
According to the Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office, there were no signs of external injuries on their bodies, and no evidence of criminal activity was detected.
“In the initial autopsy, no external injuries were found on either individual,” stated an official release.
The cause of death is still under investigation, including the possibility of exposure to a gas leak or carbon monoxide.
