The South Korean entertainment industry was shocked by the news of the passing of actress Lee Seo Yi, 43, who was confirmed to have died on June 20.

The heartbreaking news was announced by the late actress’s manager, Song Seo Bin, through a post on Instagram. He requested that fans pray for the actress’s peace in the afterlife.
“I am writing this to inform you that Seo Yi left us forever on June 20.
I know you all must be shocked and saddened by the news of her passing, but please pray that she is in a beautiful place,” he wrote.
However, the cause of death and the location of the actress’s funeral were not disclosed by her management.
Lee Seo Yi began her acting career in the historical drama Hur Jun, The Original Story in 2013.
She also starred in films such as The King and Killing Romance, as well as dramas like Cheongdam-dong Scandal.
