Walt Disney Animation Studios has finally released the official teaser for “Zootopia 2,” the highly anticipated sequel following the massive success of the original 2016 film, which won an Oscar®.
The trailer reunites the beloved detective duo, Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), who this time team up with a mysterious new character, a pit viper named Gary De’Snake (played by Ke Huy Quan).
In this film, set to hit theaters on November 27, 2025, Judy and Nick return to action when Gary arrives in Zootopia and sparks major chaos. To crack the case, they must go undercover and explore never-before-seen areas, including a swampy semi-aquatic animal marsh and a barren desert.
“We’re thrilled to bring audiences back to the incredible world of Zootopia, and this time it’s bigger, crazier, and more fun!” said Director Jared Bush, who is also the Chief Creative Officer of Disney Animation.

Meanwhile, director Byron Howard shared another surprise: a new song titled “ZUTU” performed by Zootopia’s hottest techno band, LEMEEENS, which also serves as the opening act for the famous singer, Gazelle (voiced again by Shakira).
In addition to Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Shakira, the film features the voices of actors like Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson. – BOOM!
