Legendary action star, Jackie Chan once again proved his dedication to the art when he revealed that he still performs all his own daring stunts despite now being 71 years old!

In an interview session during the global promotion of the film The Karate Kid: Legends, the iconic star confidently said:
“Of course, I always do my own stunts. That’s who I am. That won’t change until the day I retire… which will never happen!”
Jackie, who is now reprising his role as Mr. Han after 15 years in The Karate Kid franchise, also shared that all stunts are now done naturally without specific physical training.
“When you’ve been doing it for 64 years straight, you don’t need physical preparation anymore. It all comes from the heart and soul; it becomes muscle memory.”
He added that the world of action has changed with the help of modern technology, but it also brings its own impact on the authenticity of a stunt.
“Back in the day, we only had one choice – show up on set and just jump! But today, with computers, actors can do anything.”
The film The Karate Kid: Legends is set to hit theaters on May 30. – BOOM!
