The wife of comedian Shuk Sahar, Fara Salleh, revealed that she filed for divorce against her husband in early February.
Through her Instagram Story, Fara urged Shuk to fully cooperate throughout their divorce process.
“I continued for the sake of the Podcast Lepak Bapak from Singapore. Do you guys really think that low of me? Later, tell Shuk to cooperate, okay? Don’t make the procedures difficult. Have some pity on me, carrying this pregnancy while going up and down the religious office that day.”
More shockingly, Fara also claimed that Shuk not only did not allow her to work but also failed to provide sufficient financial support.
“What I find strange is, not only was I not allowed to work, but the financial support was also… hmm. I have followers, I review and sell products, but why are the faces in Podcast Lepak Bapak selling skincare, sunscreen, and serum, Shuk? Are you that afraid of me having money?”
Fara also expressed her disappointment that Shuk chose to give opportunities to his podcast friends over her.
“It’s clear that Shuk Sahar is willing to help outsiders more than his own wife. Now you understand why my account sometimes only has RM30 to RM50 left. And yes, I proceeded with the divorce for several reasons, including the names of his other friends.”
For context, Fara and Shuk got married in November 2023. Prior to this, Shuk was previously married to Rossa Sera but divorced on 22 March 2023. – BOOM!
