Hot FM radio presenter, Keymi came forward to address netizens’ criticism questioning her attendance at the Anugerah Melodi Terhangat 2025 (AMT 2025) while heavily pregnant.
Through a post on Threads, Keymi, whose real name is Nurul Kamilia Afiqah Mohd Kamaruzaman, 27, explained that she was not only pregnant but also dealing with scoliosis (a curved spine) that causes prolonged pain.
“I was in the hall, sitting for over two hours without standing.
From my spine to the soles of my feet, I felt pain that made me want to scream, but I stayed quiet and endured,” she explained.
According to Keymi, when her name was announced on stage, she had to get up abruptly with her husband’s help to avoid disrupting the event’s flow.
Even more touching, Keymi also revealed the loss of her first child previously and the difficulties she faced in conceiving.
“On stage, my voice was trembling. My mind went back to the ordeal of losing my first child.
Then, I was tested with the struggle to conceive. I was emotional.
I never imagined Allah’s gift to me would be this great.”
In concluding her post, Keymi also offered prayers for those who criticized her, wishing them good health and ease in all their endeavors. – BOOM!
