Siti Nordiana has denied claims that she’s already married, as speculated widely recently.
Admitting she was shocked by the news, the singer, fondly called Nana, still feels grateful and sees the rumours as prayers for her.
“I once read an article about marriage news and was really shocked. That news isn’t true, and I have no idea where this story came from.
“Anyway, I want to thank those who’ve prayed good things for my love life. Let’s leave matters of fate to Allah SWT.
“My heart is never closed to building a family again… God willing,” she said when met at the premiere of Astro’s 2025 Raya programme.
Unsure where the gossip started, Nana thinks it spread because she’s been a single mum for a long time.
“Maybe the story about me remarrying popped up because I’ve been living solo for so long. That’s how it is… When you’ve been alone for a while, you’re bound to become gossip fodder.
“Before this, I was often linked with several male artistes. Even lots of friends love joking around, asking when I’ll announce I’m married,” she said.
Even though she’s constantly asked about a life partner, Nana doesn’t take it to heart and is used to the questions.
For now, the singer born in Felda Sendayan just wants to focus on her son, Muhammad Rayyan Nakhaie, 17, and work on being a better person.
“God willing, I’m happy living life as a single mum. I’ve gotten used to this routine,” she added.
