Famous actress and director, Ellie Suriaty has issued an ultimatum to social media influencer Imran Bard, demanding he meet her in person to apologise for a TikTok video that allegedly tarnished her image. Ellie, 54, stressed that she’s giving him until Aidilfitri to face her, or he should prepare for further action.
“I won’t let this slide. No way. When someone’s called an influencer, they influence society, whether for good or bad. In my case, it’s more bad because I’ve received messages insulting my looks, calling me a dull actress, and all sorts of other negative remarks,” she said.
Ellie also revealed that Imran was supposed to meet her before Ramadan but delayed it, claiming he was at his village.

“I’m giving him until Aidilfitri. If he still refuses, I’ll leave it to the Malaysian Artistes’ Association (SENIMAN) for further action,” she said at a recent press conference.
Commenting on the possibility of legal action, Ellie said no amount of money could replace the dignity she lost due to this controversy.
“For three decades, I’ve worked hard to reach this level. The reputation I built got damaged just because of one video. How much is that worth? RM200,000? RM500,000? RM1 million? I am a gift from Allah SWT,” she asserted.
On top of that, Ellie insisted that the apology must be made face-to-face, not just over the phone or social media.
“Islam doesn’t teach us to apologise through the phone. If he really wants to apologise, he has to meet me in person. From there, I’ll judge if he’s sincere or just scared of getting bashed,” she added.
Before this, Imran Bard, whose real name is Muhammad Al Imran Badaruddin, had apologised via Instagram Story (IGs) and explained that he mentioned Ellie’s name spontaneously without bad intentions. However, that apology doesn’t seem enough for Ellie.

Will Imran step up to meet Ellie, or will he stay silent? Let’s wait and see how this issue unfolds. – BOOM!
