Famous American R&B singer, Chris Brown, 36, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent by the Metropolitan Police in London.
According to a statement from the authorities, the charge is related to an alleged assault incident that took place at a nightclub in central London on February 19, 2023.
Chris Brown was reportedly detained early Thursday morning at a hotel in Manchester and remains in custody. The singer is scheduled to be brought to Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Deputy Chief Prosecutor of CPS London North, Adele Kelly, stated that her office has authorized the Metropolitan Police to charge Chris Brown with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent, under Section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
She also emphasized that the criminal proceedings against the singer are now active, and Chris Brown is entitled to a fair trial.
According to a report by The Sun, the singer had flown into Manchester Airport on a private jet on Wednesday evening.
It is understood that Chris Brown is currently on a concert tour in the UK, scheduled to take place throughout June and July. – BOOM!
