Health expert, Dr Rafidah once again caught attention when she called out the sharing of recipes for drinks and dishes during Ramadan by popular influencers Khairul Aming and Che Sayang.
Through a post on platform X, Dr Rafidah quote-retweeted Khairul Aming’s post and shared her healthier iftar practice.
“I break my fast with plain water. Alhamdulillah, it quenches my thirst, and there’s no risk of diabetes,” she wrote briefly.
In addition, Dr Rafidah also reminded the public about the risks of diabetes and obesity due to excessive consumption of sugary drinks. She was also seen quote-retweeting a post by another cooking influencer, Che Sayang Kitchen.
Looking at the comment section, netizens’ reactions were divided. Some supported the reminder, stating that the health expert was simply doing her job to raise awareness about health.
However, others felt that it was a matter of personal choice when enjoying iftar meals. – BOOM!
