Renowned Indonesian actress and model, Luna Maya is now officially the wife of handsome actor, Maxime Bouttier, following a beautiful wedding ceremony held in Bali, Indonesia today.
The joyous event was enlivened with a blend of Balinese, Javanese, and European traditions, showcasing the unique backgrounds of both partners.
Before the solemnization ceremony, Luna underwent the Javanese siraman and sungkeman rituals, followed by Maxime, who also participated in the ceremonies.
Despite a 10-year age gap, it was never a barrier to their love blossoming all the way to the altar.

However, behind the love story that culminated in happiness, Luna made a shocking revelation when she admitted to having accepted a marriage proposal from another man before being with Maxime.
“At that time, I did accept a proposal from a man, before I was with Maxime,” she said candidly in an interview on her YouTube channel today.
According to Luna, she accepted the proposal not out of love, but due to pressure and the expectations of those around her.
“I had thought about it, but it’s true… it’s so much better to follow your own heart without caring about what people say or the pressure from those around you.”
Luna also expressed gratitude for finally meeting Maxime, the person who truly understands and accepts her.
“I feel grateful because I ended up meeting you (Maxime).
If not, I might be married now but living under stress because I made the decision to marry just to please others.”
