International singer Selena Gomez recently addressed rumors about changes in her voice and denied claims that she had grown a mustache during a recent Instagram Live session.

She clarified that what people saw was not facial hair, but melasma on her skin.
“Someone made me laugh when they asked, ‘How do you shave your mustache?’ But I want to clarify, it’s not a mustache, it’s my melasma. I take care of it and treat it, but it’s still there. I understand it comes from sunlight,” she said.

On the topic of her voice, Selena also emphasized that the changes occur naturally.
“I’ve been asked several times about my voice. Sometimes these things just happen, I feel weird, my throat feels swollen inside. That’s all,” she explained.

Melasma is a skin condition that causes dark patches on the face due to overproduction of melanin, usually influenced by sun exposure.
These brown or gray patches often appear on the cheeks, forehead, nose, and upper lip.

Additionally, Selena faces health challenges due to lupus, an autoimmune disease that can affect multiple organs and systems. Despite this, she remains active and continues her career while managing her health. —Boom!
