JYP Entertainment, the agency representing the popular K-Pop group Stray Kids, announced strict legal action against individuals spreading defamation and making malicious comments against their artists.
In an official statement on August 19 (KST), JYP confirmed that it has filed criminal complaints after gathering evidence of defamatory posts, the spread of false information, and extreme criticism that harms the artists’ reputation.

“We will fully cooperate with the authorities and will pursue strict civil and criminal legal actions.
No leniency or settlements will be offered throughout this process,” the agency clarified.
JYP also added that they will continue to monitor the situation and take action against anyone attempting to violate Stray Kids’ rights and activities, including filing additional lawsuits if necessary.
This drastic step clearly demonstrates JYP’s seriousness in protecting their artists from cyber attacks and ensuring Stray Kids can continue creating with greater stability, free from disturbances. – BOOM!
