Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence revealed she missed the chance to play Sharon Tate, the actress famously murdered in the 1960s, because she was considered “not pretty enough.”

Jennifer shared the story on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, explaining she lost the role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, directed by Quentin Tarantino, to Margot Robbie.

“He (Tarantino) did want to cast me, but several other people said I wasn’t pretty enough to play Sharon Tate,” she told Geo News.
Jennifer admitted she became convinced it was true or eventually believed the narrative. During the 2017 auditions, she was speculated to play Sharon alongside Robbie. However, Sharon’s sister, Debra Tate, reportedly rejected the idea, claiming Jennifer was not attractive enough for the role.

Years later, Tarantino commented that Jennifer should have played Squeaky Fromme, even inviting her to his home to read the script privately. -BOOM!
