Iskandar Ismail, better known as Eiss, achieved a remarkable milestone after being crowned the champion of Gegar Vaganza (GV) 12.
He walked away with RM100,000 in cash and a trophy after 11 weeks of competition, marking a rewarding end to his hard work and perseverance.
During the grand finale, Eiss captivated the audience with popular songs such as Madah Berhelah, Senja Nan Merah, Cerita Kedai Kopi, and Pink Venom.
Speaking about his victory, Eiss expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all three GV12 judges for their guidance and continuous support throughout the competition.
“First of all, I would like to thank the three highly respected judges,” he said, as quoted by Mstar.
The second place was secured by Mendua, a group from Indonesia, while Nubhan finished third, taking home RM30,000. Mark Adam claimed fourth place.
Judge Datuk Ramli MS praised Eiss’ performance as energetic and full of spirit, noting that his delivery resembled a live concert.
“The concept was excellent. The performance was powerful, and your singing was just as intense. You sang as if it were a concert,” he said, according to Mstar.
