Raja Azura’s former husband, Adzmin Osman, has still failed to appear at the Shah Alam Syariah High Court despite a newspaper advertisement being published to locate him regarding a child maintenance claim involving their three children.

Raja Azura’s syariah lawyer, Mohammad Amirul Hanizan, informed the court of the situation on Wednesday.
“In the notice, it was clearly stated that the respondent (Adzmin) was required to attend today (yesterday). However, he is not present. Therefore, the judge may proceed with the next decision regardless of his attendance,” he was quoted as saying by mStar.

Mohammad Amirul added that proof of the advertisement published in Berita Harian had been submitted to the court registrar, and the next mention date has been set for January 19 next year.

The court has approved an execution summons against Adzmin, including the possibility of issuing a warrant of arrest should he continue to be uncooperative.

Raja Azura, 53, filed the application for enforcement of the maintenance order in September, 15 years after their divorce on 28 September 2010.
The former couple share three children: Megat Muhammad Raziq (23), Megat Luqman Hakim (22), and Puteri Mia Maizura (20). –Boom!
