In his post, Khairul recounted a moment when he met a woman and her child in an elevator.
At the time, the woman was adjusting her saree in celebration of Deepavali. Her child then cheerfully recognized Khairul, saying:
“Eh, are you Khairul?” before adding, “Happy Deepavali.”
Moments later, the woman humorously asked:
“Khairul, are you single? When are you getting married?”
Khairul jokingly said he thought such questions only came up during Hari Raya Aidilfitri, but now it seems Deepavali isn’t spared either.
