A new history is set to be made in the local music industry as four big names, united not only by blood but also by their passion for art, come together for the first time in EMPAT Live in Kuala Lumpur 2025.
Organized by Anuar Zain Network alongside Altus ProHouse, the concert, slated for October 18, 2025, at Mega Star Arena Kuala Lumpur, brings together two national music icons — Ziana Zain and Anuar Zain, with the rising next generation, Ernie Zakri and her husband, Syamel.
“I never imagined sharing the stage with my sister and my niece,” said Anuar Zain.
According to him, the concert had been planned for a long time, but only now could all the artists’ schedules be aligned.
“This concert isn’t just about the four of us, but about family and appreciating the support of fans across generations,” Anuar added.
Ernie admitted she cried when she was invited to join the concert.
“I grew up admiring Ziana and Anuar. Now, I’m standing on stage with them – a dream come true.”
For Syamel, the concert feels like the greatest gift in his artistic journey.
“The combination of our four energies will surely create an extraordinary performance.”
Directed by industry heavyweight Jennifer Thompson as the concert director and Sze Wan as the music director, EMPAT is expected to be one of the most iconic concerts of the year.
“We’ve been planning this concert for three years. It’s not just entertainment – it’s an experience. Each artist has their own style, and their combination creates magic on stage,” said Jennifer.
