Actress Anna Jobling has achieved another proud milestone as she is nominated in the Outstanding Asian Star category, representing Malaysia at the Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA) 2025, set to take place on October 2.
According to a Kosmo! Online report, Anna, 25, admitted she was shocked but grateful, as her role as Nur Cahaya in TV3’s drama series Hai Cinta, Dengarkanlah paved the way to the international stage.
“I was truly shocked and touched. This is a great honor, not only for me but also for the Hai Cinta, Dengarkanlah team.
“The support from my family, teammates, and fans has been my inspiration. I hope to bring this victory home for Malaysia,” she said.
Anna emphasized that the nomination is not just a personal recognition but an opportunity to elevate Malaysia’s name on the global stage.
“I am deeply grateful for this recognition, which is also a pride for me, Malaysia, and TV3, which always supports local artistic works.
“I will always do my best in my career to bring the country’s name to greater heights,” she added.
The SDA 2025, to be held at Yeouido KBS Hall in Seoul, is a prestigious event that gathers Asian stars from South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, the Philippines, and more.
The winner of the category will be determined through global fan voting via the IDOL CHAMP app.
For the record, last year Malaysia made history when actress Siti Saleha was announced as the recipient of the same category. – BOOM!
