South Korean singer, Ju Hak Nyeon can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the police decided to drop the investigation into allegations linking him to prostitution activities.
According to a report from Gangnam Police Station, South Korea, the investigation could not proceed due to insufficient evidence to support the claims made against the ex-member of the group The Boyz.
The case initially surfaced when a public petition alleged that Hak Nyeon paid a sum of money to Japanese adult film actress, Asuka Kirara, supposedly for intimate relations.
The claims were further fueled by media reports and a video that spread on social media.
However, after an investigation was conducted, the police found all the allegations to be baseless and lacking solid evidence to charge him.
Hak Nyeon had previously denied his involvement in such activities but admitted to having met Asuka Kirara.
Due to the controversy, Hak Nyeon’s name was dropped from The Boyz, sparking various reactions among fans. – BOOM!
