In Emilia Pérez, Saldaña portrays lawyer Rita Mora Castro, who faces a dilemma when asked to help a cartel leader, ‘Manitas,’ fake his death in order to start a new life.

The film also made history with ten nominations, including Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for Karla Sofía Gascón. If she wins, Gascón will become the first Spanish and transgender woman to win a Golden Globe.

Zoe Saldaña, one of Hollywood’s leading figures, continues to make a big name in the industry, proving that her talent and dedication deserve such recognition.

For information, the Golden Globe Awards were first held in 1944 to recognize the efforts of Hollywood and international filmmakers, followed by the Academy Awards (Oscars), which are considered the pinnacle of achievement for the global film industry each year. – BOOM!
