Zayn Malik shocked fans after being announced as an active director of One Direction once again, 10 years after leaving the group.
New documents filed on 3 November with Companies House show that Zayn has returned to the register as an active director alongside his former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
All of them share the same registered business address under the law firm Lee and Thompson LLP, which previously handled the solo career of the late Liam Payne.
PPM Music Limited, the original company they established when they first won the competition, is now returning to play a key role.
According to The Sun, although Zayn is officially back, no new music or performances are expected in the near future. Louis and Zayn are also reportedly filming a television program in the United States.
Alan McEvoy from Live Wire Business Management is also listed as a company director. He has previously worked with One Direction and other X Factor stars.
These changes are seen as a strong indication that One Direction may finally be reuniting after their long hiatus since January 2016. —Boom!
