Actress Zara Zya said she is not bothered by the statement made by entrepreneur Datuk Seri Khazrul Elzey, who expressed his willingness to marry her.
She explained that the meeting held with the former fiancé of actress Zarina Anjoulie was solely to discuss professional collaboration and not personal matters.
“It wasn’t that serious to that extent. We had just met for the first time and got to know each other because of work matters,” she said.
Zara also clarified that several videos and photos of the meeting uploaded by Khazrul on social media should not be misinterpreted.
According to her, the meeting was not meant to discuss marriage or matchmaking.
“On the same day, I also met other people for work purposes. Perhaps the difference is that others didn’t upload it on social media,” she said.
Previously, Khazrul himself denied claims that he was romantically involved with Zara, but did not rule out the possibility if there is fate in the future.
He even praised the actress’s personality and said he is open to getting to know her better. – BOOM!
