Actor Zahiril Adzim, 42, shared an emotional post on his Threads platform that drew various reactions from social media users.
Through the post, Zahiril said that he has started to lose interest in things he used to enjoy.
“I have lost interest in things I once liked,” he wrote.
However, Zahiril did not explain the matter further.
Looking at the comment section, fellow artistes also offered advice and encouragement, including actress Mira Filzah.
“Take your time, rest, and come back stronger!” wrote Mira Filzah.
Several comments also linked Zahiril’s condition to anhedonia, which refers to a loss of interest or pleasure and can be associated with symptoms of depression and anxiety.
“That is anhedonia, one of the symptoms of depression. Seek professional help,” wrote one user.
Nevertheless, many also prayed for Zahiril and hoped that he would regain his spirit.
