Wani Kayrie steps out with a fresh twist through her new single titled “Cak Cak Cekuk”, a modern pop song inspired by an old folk tune, blended with contemporary music arrangements.
Produced by Rocketfuel Entertainment and co-created with Karim Karam, Shane Kennedy, and Iqie Hugh, the song carries a relatable message about young couples who want to get married but are not yet financially stable.

Wani was drawn to the song from the first time she heard the demo because it reflects a situation many couples face today.
According to her, the song’s message is important, conveying that a lavish ceremony isn’t the priority; instead, love and sincerity should come first.
“Sometimes we don’t need a grand ceremony. Love and sincerity are enough,” said Wani.
The song also pays homage to traditional rhythms like “Cak Cekur Udang Gamit”, often sung by grandmothers or mothers to young children.
For Wani, it’s an opportunity to revive cultural values with a more modern and fresh approach.
With cheerful yet meaningful music, “Cak Cak Cekuk” is perfect as a backdrop for weddings, bridal showers, or romantic moments for young couples.

Lyrics like “Row slowly until you reach the end” also convey the message that life’s journey requires patience and continuous effort.
“If you truly love each other, you work together.
You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to get married,” Wani explained.
The single is available for streaming on all digital platforms starting May 23, 2025, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
The official music video is also set to be released soon, promising a unique twist of its own. – BOOM!
