Mia Azahar has come forward to clarify accusations of insulting her domestic helper after calling the woman ‘kepam’, which sparked widespread criticism.

According to the social media influencer, she had no intention of mocking the woman’s appearance but was only referring to hygiene issues.

“There’s a reason I called her kepam, not because she’s fat. I didn’t even touch on her physical appearance at all, netizens shouldn’t twist the story,” she explained in a video post on TikTok.

Mia clarified that the domestic helper often showed a lack of personal hygiene.

“She once wiped sweat off her face, then touched my child’s face. There’s a video where she picked her nose, wiped it on her clothes, and then picked up my child without washing her hands.”

Even more disappointing, she said, the helper was careless while looking after her young child, leading to a worrying incident when Mia was overseas.

“My child fell flat on her back, her head hit the cement. It happened when I was abroad, and I only found out at night, even though it happened in the daytime.

“She didn’t inform me or my mom, who was in the house. I’m upset because my child is only one year and nine months old, she doesn’t know what’s dangerous.”

Mia informed that she has lodged a complaint with the agency, and the helper is no longer at her home. – BOOM!
