Famous influencer, Prince Syed Shahid’s plan to cheer up his wife, Fatin Syazwani Ishak, for Aidilfitri turned sour when they received rude treatment from a staff member at a gold shop.
According to Syed, they initially wanted to buy jewellery worth nearly RM90,000, but had to cancel their plan due to the female staff’s harsh attitude.

“She just threw the ring at us… how can you treat customers like this? Then she raised her voice at me and my wife. Looked at us like we had no money with a smug face,” Syed vented on his social media.
The video shared by Syed also showed the unfriendly situation, making netizens feel angry too and demanding the shop apologise.
Not long after the issue went viral, Haniffa Jewellers issued a public apology on TikTok and informed that action had been taken against the staff involved.

“The staff involved has been transferred to another department while an investigation is underway.
If this had been reported at the time, we would’ve settled it immediately. We apologise for what happened,” said a spokesperson from Haniffa Jewellers.
