[V]Shuk Sahar Pronounces Divorce In Thailand, Fara Salleh To Pursue Claims In Court

Comedian Shuk Sahar has sparked controversy again after allegedly pronouncing a talak satu divorce to his wife, Fara Salleh, via a phone call from Thailand.

This shocking news was shared by Fara, 33, herself through a video uploaded on her Instagram on Monday.

“He pronounced the divorce through a WhatsApp call. I don’t know what his intention was doing it in Thailand with a marriage agency there,” she said.

Even though the divorce pronouncement happened abroad, Fara stressed that she will still proceed with the divorce process according to Malaysian law at the Segamat Lower Syariah Court in Johor.

“I will still claim maintenance for my child from the start, not a single bit less,” she stated.

Fara, who is currently pregnant and expected to give birth to their child next July, also expressed her disappointment over her husband’s irresponsible behavior.

“Clothes weren’t bought, skincare wasn’t purchased either. Raya stuff, nothing. Baby items, not a single thing was bought. Most of it, I used my own money, doing review jobs. He only covered food and drinks.”

She added that if Shuk truly understood religion, he wouldn’t treat his wife and unborn child this way.

For info, the couple tied the knot in November 2023. However, their marriage started to crumble after Fara claimed she was a victim of mental abuse and neglected while in the hospital.

Fara also alleged that Shuk prioritized his friends over his responsibilities as a husband. – BOOM!
