Famous actress and model, Luna Maya successfully brought joy to the hearts of primary school students in Enoraen, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), after the school, renovated by her foundation, was completed and officially opened.
Before this, the school’s condition was very poor, with only bamboo walls and a zinc roof. In fact, the chairs in the classrooms were very basic, and the school didn’t even have toilets.
A year after her first visit, Luna Maya’s efforts paid off when the school was finally renovated and ready for the students to use.
In a video shared on Instagram, Luna Maya was seen surrounded by primary school students eagerly rushing to hug her.
“I’m so happy to return to Enoraen Primary School, Kupang, NTT,” wrote Luna Maya in the caption.
Luna also hoped that this new school could inspire the kids to study harder and chase their dreams.
“Hopefully, with this school’s fresh new look, it can boost the students’ spirit to learn and achieve greater success,” she said.
Luna Maya’s post received tons of praise from people touched by her efforts and care in supporting the education of kids in rural areas. – BOOM!
