Social media influencer Ananda Natasha, or Tasha as she’s fondly called, poured out her sadness, describing this Ramadan as the loneliest in her life.
Through a TikTok post, Tasha admitted she can’t feel the fasting vibe like in previous years because she’s far from her mum. Even sadder, her mum can’t join her this year due to health issues.

“This Ramadan is the loneliest Ramadan in my life. Last year my mum came and fasted with me, but this year she can’t come because she’s unwell,” Tasha shared in a video where she was seen holding back tears.
On top of that, Tasha also shared that she herself can’t return to her hometown for certain reasons.
“I also have certain reasons that stop me from going back to my hometown to fast. This fasting month, I can’t get the fasting vibe like others. I can’t break my fast like other families. Can I just cry?” she said with a heartbroken tone.
Tasha added that whenever people ask about her Raya preparations or where she’ll celebrate, she can only stay silent.
“When people ask me where I’m celebrating Raya, I don’t know what to say. I really don’t feel the ‘vibes’ to celebrate Raya,” she expressed again.
However, despite the loneliness she feels, Tasha remains grateful because she still has friends on social media who give her moral support.
“But I know, I’m not alone, I still have friends in this (social media),” she said.
Tasha’s honest sharing caught the attention of many netizens, who left words of encouragement and prayed for her mum’s health and Tasha’s well-being as she faces this challenging Ramadan. – BOOM!
