Renowned entrepreneur and personality Datuk Seri Vida (DSV) is once again capturing the attention of local music fans with her latest single, Lagu Happy, which serves as the official soundtrack for the film Duyung: Legend of Aurora, set to hit cinemas from the 25th of this month.
Lagu Happy, composed by Syahmi Muffin with lyrics by Neo, features a fresh, energetic, and catchy melody. Its light arrangement and cheerful vibe make it a fun sing-along song suitable for listeners of all ages.
The song also evokes nostalgia, recalling iconic tracks from the first Duyung film such as Aspalela and Yahoo.
DSV shared that the song was inspired by her life experiences and personal philosophy.
“Happy reflects my belief that happiness is a choice. No matter what challenges we face in life, we still deserve to be joyful and grateful every day,” she said.
Adding to the excitement, DSV appears as a pink-colored mermaid in the music video directed by Farah Khalid, bringing a unique and joyful visual element to the song.
