Actor Tom Cruise once again proved his dedication to extreme stunts when he revealed that he passed out several times while filming an intense action scene for Mission: Impossible – The Final.
In an interview, Tom, 61, shared his challenging experience performing a dangerous stunt in the air, where he was seen hanging from the wing of a 1930s Boeing Stearman plane at 10,000 feet above South Africa.
“When your head is out at speeds over 120 miles per hour, you can’t get oxygen. I had to train myself on how to breathe. There were times I passed out and couldn’t get back into the cockpit,” he said, as quoted by Deadline.
Director Christopher McQuarrie teased that this installment of the film would feature even more insane stunts that will make audiences “melt their brains.”
“Tom will go out and do something even greater than anything he’s ever done before,” he said.
Previously, Tom Cruise was known for his death-defying stunts, such as climbing the Burj Khalifa, holding his breath for over six minutes underwater, and hanging onto a plane during takeoff.
Now, he is once again pushing his limits with an aerial stunt that will surely leave audiences on the edge of their seats! – BOOM!
