South Korean actress, Lee Si Young is once again the talk of social media after being accused of drinking alcohol while pregnant.

The uproar began after Si Young shared several photos and videos of her vacation in New York, United States, on Instagram a few days ago.

In those posts, she enjoyed a five-hour limousine tour from Madison Square Park to Brooklyn with friends.

However, what sparked controversy was the sight of Si Young holding a glass believed to contain an alcoholic drink.

Even more concerning, she brought her eldest son along for the ride in the same limousine.

Many netizens criticized her, expressing discomfort and accusing Si Young of being insensitive, especially since a child was allegedly exposed to the influence of alcohol at a young age.

Addressing the criticism, Lee Si Young came forward with an explanation.

“The drink did not contain high alcohol,” she clarified briefly in a follow-up post.

This isn’t the first time Si Young has stirred debate among fans.

Previously, she shocked many by announcing her pregnancy through IVF using her ex-husband’s sperm, without the man’s permission.
