Renowned actor and director, Datuk Aaron Aziz took a bold step by calling on former convicts and ex-students of Sekolah Henry Gurney to attend an acting audition under his production company, Aaron Aziz Production.
Through a post on social media, Aaron expressed his commitment to helping this group get a second chance in life, particularly in the world of acting.
“Are you a former convict?
Have you been in prison, or attended Sekolah Henry Gurney?
Do people say you have no future?
That you’re ruined, hopeless, and can’t fit into decent society?” he said.
According to Aaron, he wants to prove that every individual deserves to rise again and build a better future.
“Make sure your answer is no, and you’re brave enough to prove it.
I will help you. How?
Come audition for my latest project,” he added.
This open audition is aimed at men aged 16 to 50, regardless of background or experience.
In fact, individuals with no acting background are also welcome, as long as they have the courage to try. – BOOM!
