Talented host and actress Uyaina Arshad has shared joyful news that she is expecting her third child, currently 25 weeks into her pregnancy, through a recent post on Instagram.
However, behind the happiness, Uyaina revealed that her pregnancy requires close medical monitoring after new antibodies were detected in her body, believed to have formed from a previous blood transfusion.
“It turns out my body has developed new antibodies… and these antibodies mean that this pregnancy needs to be monitored more closely,” she explained.
According to Uyaina, the antibodies could potentially attack the baby’s red blood cells, mistaking them for foreign substances.
Nevertheless, she expressed gratitude that both she and her baby are currently in good condition.
Uyaina, who first rose to fame as the winner of Nona Manis 2015, has hosted popular TV programs such as Mingguan Wanita and Wanita Hari Ini.
