Hollywood icon Tommy Lee Jones is facing a moment of profound grief at the start of the new year after his daughter, Victoria Kafka Jones, was found dead in a luxury hotel in California.
Victoria, 34, was discovered unresponsive at the Fairmont San Francisco yesterday after the fire department received an early-morning emergency call from the hotel.
According to TMZ, she was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics arrived at approximately 2:52 a.m.
Officers from the San Francisco Police Department later arrived and handed the case over to the medical examiner for further investigation. As of the time of writing, the cause of death has not been determined, and authorities have yet to release an official statement.
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his former wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
From a young age, she followed in her father’s footsteps into acting, appearing in several films and television series, including Men in Black II, One Tree Hill, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father.
