Contemporary nasyid group UNIC made history by staging their first full-scale solo concert, This Is UNIC: Live In Concert, at Idea Live Arena.
Organised by Triple Am Global, the concert highlighted that nasyid music remains relevant and firmly rooted within the mainstream entertainment landscape.
UNIC performed popular hits such as Hanyut, Balqis and Remaja, followed by more mature works including Jalinan and Keroncong Kasih Sayang. Calmer segments featuring Doa Dhuha, Qunut Nazilah and Anak Soleh offered audiences a deeply spiritual and reflective experience.
The crowd’s excitement peaked during iconic songs like Hanya Tuhan Yang Tahu, Mahligai Kasih and Ainul Mardhiah, which were performed as mass sing-alongs.
An estimated crowd of over 5,000 attended the concert, which also featured special appearances by Naufal Isa and Nizam Laksamana.
UNIC described the concert not as an ending, but as a new beginning in their mission to elevate nasyid music to greater heights.
The event also proved that audiences remain enthusiastic, while nasyid continues to thrive and grow stronger within the local music industry. –Boom!
