Actress from the popular series The Walking Dead, Kelley Mack, has reportedly passed away at the age of 33 due to an aggressive form of brain cancer, diffuse midline glioma, on August 2.
The sad news was shared by family members three days after her passing through a statement on social media.
“This loss is incredibly painful to describe.
Kelley passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
She was a light in our lives and will always be missed,” they said.
Kelley, whose real name was Kelley Lynne Klebenow, was diagnosed with cancer after experiencing prolonged back pain since last January.
In a previous post, Mack revealed that she lost function in her right leg and much of her left leg after undergoing a biopsy on her spine.
“Now I can only walk with the help of a walker or wheelchair.
But I remain grateful to be surrounded by a loving family and partner,” she wrote.
Mack was known for her role as Addy, a teenager from the Hilltop Colony in the ninth season of The Walking Dead.
Although she only appeared in five episodes (2018-2019), her character left a significant impact on fans of the post-apocalyptic series. – BOOM!
