Renowned Indonesian actress Dinda Kanyadewi, synonymous with antagonistic roles like “Miska” in Cinta Fitri, has surprised many by taking on the role of a kind and gentle woman in her latest horror film titled DASIM.
For years, her face was often associated with villainous and heart-wrenching characters, becoming her ‘trademark’ in the acting world. However, Dinda has taken a bold step by transforming her image and appearance.

She worked hard to appear softer and more refined, including using lighter makeup and adopting a calmer, friendlier tone of voice. This effort was made to break the perception that she is only suited for antagonistic roles.
“It’s not easy, I mean, I tried my very best and kept working to change my appearance and other things like that.
So it’s like changing the makeup to not be too heavy or the overall look, the way I speak, so there are many things that can be adjusted from there,” she said when met at the DASIM premiere.
Dinda also admitted to wondering whether her skills were limited to villainous roles, given how long she had played such characters. But for her, this change was crucial to prove her versatility as an actress.
Through her new appearance in DASIM, Dinda looked stunning at the film’s premiere night. With an elegant and captivating style, her latest look received widespread praise.

In her personal life, although she has yet to find her soulmate, Dinda remains optimistic and hopeful that one day she will meet the man she loves. – BOOM!
