After winning the Academy Award or known as Oscar for Best Actor last March, The Brutalist star Adrien Brody revealed that he has not received any new offers since by choice.

Speaking to reporters at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Brody said he has become more selective when choosing future projects.

According to him, every role and film he accepts must feel meaningful and aligned with his interests.
“I haven’t acted in any other film since The Brutalist. It’s not that I haven’t had interesting opportunities, but they just weren’t the right fit,” he told Deadline.

Reflecting on his 40-year career, Brody also shared advice for younger generations in the industry, encouraging them to experiment early in their careers.
“Any professional experience is a great lesson. The failures, the obstacles, or the pressure you face on set will strengthen you for future challenges,” he said.

Brody previously won his first Best Actor Oscar in 2003 for his iconic portrayal of Wladyslaw Szpilman in The Pianist, directed by Roman Polanski. –Boom!
