Recently, a Malaysian initiative to help people in neighboring countries, especially Grab or ojek drivers in Indonesia, went viral as they faced uncertain situations.
The method was simple. Placing food orders from local vendors there, thereby giving charity to them.
Popular actress Puteri Sarah Liyana warmly welcomed this effort and took the opportunity to extend help.
Through a shared screenshot of a message, Sarah placed a food order from Soto Betawi Bang Jack restaurant in Jakarta, which was received by an ojek driver named Maruba Joner.
Maruba then sent a message asking about the actual delivery location since Sarah chose a building’s lobby.
“I’m from Malaysia. That’s for your charity and friends.
Please eat it later,” Sarah replied.
Touched by those words, Maruba expressed gratitude and prayed for Puteri Sarah’s blessings to be multiplied.
“May it be blessed, and always successful, sis,” he wrote briefly.
Replying to the message, the mother of two also offered prayers for the people of Indonesia.
“Yes, may Indonesia recover quickly.”

This small but meaningful act clearly touched many hearts, proving that humanity and compassion transcend national borders. – BOOM!
