While many fans speculated that the pop superstar would take the stage at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show, Taylor clarified that she has not received any official offer for the prestigious performance.
She also dismissed rumors suggesting her decision was influenced by her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce or any potential recording commitments.
Instead, Taylor explained that she is currently focusing on supporting Travis, who is in the midst of one of his busiest football seasons. She added that preparing for a show as massive as the Super Bowl would be impossible while managing her current schedule.
During the same interview, Taylor also promoted her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which has already broken Spotify’s record for the highest first-day streams.
