Taeyong of Korean group NCT has officially completed his mandatory military service in South Korea yesterday.
He began his enlistment on April 15, 2024.

According to a report by Kpopping, he is the first NCT member to complete the mandatory military service, having served in the South Korean Navy.
NCT shared a post on their official X social media account, announcing that Taeyong has returned to civilian life and was warmly welcomed by fans from around the world who gathered to celebrate his return.

The South Korean government requires all able-bodied men to undergo military service as part of the nation’s defense system, with a duration ranging from 18 to 21 months depending on the branch of service.

Born in Seoul, Taeyong debuted with boy band NCT in 2016 and has been active in units such as NCT 127 and SuperM. He is known as a rapper, vocalist, songwriter, and the leader of the group.

Now, Taeyong is ready to resume his activities in the music industry and is expected to rejoin NCT and pursue solo activities in the near future. –Boom!
