Syed Saddiq remains proud of the determination shown by Bella Astillah’s son, Mohamad Ayden Adrean, even though the mission to summit Mount Kinabalu was unsuccessful due to unfavorable weather.

The Member of Parliament for Muar said this year’s climb was more meaningful because Ayden, nicknamed Iron Kid, joined them in the challenge.
“This year is special because Iron Kid joined us,”
he said.
During the climb, they reportedly reached earlier than other hikers, with Syed Saddiq’s group leading by four hours.

The Instagram account of the brand sponsoring Bella and Syed Saddiq’s clothing for the mission also confirmed the climb had to be stopped due to unstable weather conditions.
“It wasn’t our destiny, the weather did not allow it,”
the post stated.
Meanwhile, a US content creator named Terry Pernell praised Ayden’s resilience and discipline, even at the young age of 9.
“Had the chance to meet a true legend while climbing Mount Kinabalu. Calm, steady steps, and unexpectedly he left me far behind,”
he said on TikTok early this morning.

Previously, Syed Saddiq completed the 2025 Ironman World Championship in Nice, France, which included 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and 42 km marathon on hilly routes.
